Our latest tailor-made Shaker style kitchen at Falcon Cottage is classic in style but modern in functionality. Designed as part of a full home refurbishment and extension project undertaken by our Chinthurst Construction division, this new open plan kitchen diner has been created to suit the needs of a busy young family.

This beautiful kitchen features a stunning large oven mantel featuring a custom piece of hand-carved solid oak, creating a real focal feature, a large island with an attractive Carrara Smokey Quartz worktop giving ample space for food preparation & casual dining. We also incorporated a number of clever storage solutions into the design to allow the space to grow with the family in the form of our custom sliding shelf corner system to make use of those typically hard to reach areas, ‘hidden’ shelving on the inside of the oven mantel for easy access to the everyday essentials you need when cooking on the hob, a large double pantry unit and a triple set of cupboards underneath the island.

All units were sprayed in our in-house painting facilities to match to Farrow and Ball's ‘Plummet’ for the island and ‘French Grey 113’ by Little Greene Paint Company on the outer units and are complemented by a mix of satin nickel cup handles and round knobs which give a fresh modern take on a classic Shaker design.
