Just a stone’s throw away from the heart of the executive commuter belt of Cobham is our contemporary extension and refurbishment project in Burleigh Park.

Our client didn’t feel that the existing layout of the property flowed very well and didn’t lend itself to modern family living so we created a number of changes to provide them with an improved floor plan and some additional volume. A small porch extension was added to the front of the property to create a larger entryway which allowed more natural light to enter the home and the staircase was repositioned to a central location in order to open up the hallway and provide a clearer path between the kitchen and living room on either side.

The existing kitchen was knocked through to create a modern open plan kitchen/dining room with a new adjoining utility room. We added 2 large sets of bi-folding doors at the end of the kitchen so the space could continue out onto the new re-designed porcelain patio and be a beautiful additional alfresco dining/entertaining space in the warmer months.  

On the first floor, we extended the side of the property above the new kitchen space to create a spacious new master bedroom with an en-suite shower room and integrated walk-in wardrobe with a pocket door system.

As well as the exterior rear landscaping we also extended and replaced the existing worn tarmacadam driveway with a new resin bonded surface.
